This policy covers the usefully.info website. Each of our apps has its own privacy policy, which is linked from that app’s store listing.
The short version
- No cookies. The site doesn’t set any cookies, so there’s no cookie banner.
- No analytics or tracking scripts. We don’t run analytics, ad trackers or third-party marketing scripts.
- Email is the only way we receive personal data, and only if you choose to write to us.
Things that stay on your device
Some pages remember small preferences in your browser’s local storage, such as your light or dark theme. These never leave your device, and you can clear them at any time in your browser settings.
Server logs
Our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don’t use this data to identify you.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply to you, and we delete conversations we no longer need, after at most 24 months.
Your rights
Wherever you live, including under UK and EU GDPR and US state privacy laws, you can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you. Contact us through the contact page. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. In the UK, that’s the ICO.
Changes
If this policy changes, for example if we add analytics or a contact form, we’ll update it before the change goes live and update the date at the top of this page.
